Job Purpose

In this role, you will act as the organization’s Cloud ERP technical authority, responsible for establishing design guidelines and best practices for integrating cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions – Oracle Fusion with other QR business systems. You will provide technical leadership, guide the development of robust integration architecture and ensure adherence to cloud architecture best practices, compliance, and operational excellence.

As a leader within the IT organization, you will define technology architecture, governance processes, select appropriate tools and technologies to meet the current & future Oracle Fusion integration requirements with QR systems.

Role and Responsibilities

• Architect resilient, scalable, and secure integration solutions using event driven messaging platforms (e.g., Solace, Kafka etc.) and enterprise service bus framework to transform messages, while enabling seamless integration between Oracle Fusion/OIC and existing QR applications.
• Establish architectural standards, conduct design and code reviews, and provide technical guidance to delivery teams.
• Offer technical leadership by reviewing and contributing to key deliverables such as technical architecture documents, non-functional requirements, interface specifications, and high-level design documents.
• Act as organization’s technical authority for enterprise integration, responsible for defining design guidelines, patterns, and best practices for event-driven architecture and service orchestration
• Define observability practices and non-functional requirements to support zero message loss and auditable end-to-end flows.
• Hands on knowledge in supporting critical production systems on Solace & RedHat App Foundation.
• Design topic hierarchies, event schemas, and routing strategies, and establish standards for guaranteed delivery, idempotency, replay, and dead-letter handling. Leveraging modern integration tooling and APIs, you will ensure that business events are captured, enriched, and propagated reliably across heterogeneous platforms
• Extensive knowledge of event driven capabilities of Solace & Enterprise Integration patterns using Apache Camel/Red Hat App Foundation
• In depth experience in building end to end observability using industry best practices like Open Telemetry, traceparent/tracestate propagation etc. Top notch monitoring & observability is critical for tracing the message from/to between Oracle Fusion and QR applications
• In depth understanding/experience in integrating with Oracle Fusion via OIC.  Experience in different integration patterns supported by OIC to support different business scenarios.
• Ensure NFR compliance and integration approach are secure, manageable, maintainable, scalable, resilient, sustainable, and cost-effective, while meeting business requirements.
• Oversee the documentation and fulfillment of all application non-functional requirements (NFRs), ensuring thorough testing and implementing corrective or preventive actions as needed.
• In depth understanding and experience on NFR aspects specific to integration – Zero message loss, retry, exponential back off, back pressure, self-healing etc. to build highly resilient operationally critical applications
• Participate in production readiness reviews prior to application releases.
• Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents in production systems, recommending and ensuring the implementation of effective preventive measures.
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of production systems.
• Supervise development activities and review project artifacts to ensure consistency with established design and architecture guidelines.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and Infrastructure Management teams to ensure adherence to group-wide standards for tools, platforms, and processes.
• Plan and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate complex solutions and emerging technologies, ensuring rapid identification and elimination of infeasible approaches.
• Champion innovation to maximize business and customer value from technology solutions.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams to design and implement robust, secure solutions.
