About the Role

As a Supplier Compliance Specialist within Qatar Airways Catering Services, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the quality and safety of our global supply chain. You will oversee supplier audits, ensure adherence to regulatory and food safety requirements, and support the implementation of the Supplier Assurance Strategy. Your expertise will help maintain the highest levels of compliance across manufacturing, quality systems, halal adherence, security, and material standards — ensuring our suppliers meet the expectations of a world‑leading airline. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, international suppliers, regulators, and cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold Qatar Airways’ commitment to excellence.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

• Manage supplier risk assessments and conduct compliance audits across the global supply chain.
• Validate supplier certifications, food safety standards, halal compliance, and regulatory requirements. 
• Monitor manufacturing and quality processes, including product sampling and AQL inspections.
• Identify poorly performing vendors and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and support QR’s due diligence defense in compliance-related cases.
• Support the development of product recall processes and execute necessary tests.
• Produce annual Compliance & Quality Assurance reports and maintain up‑to‑date audit documentation.
• Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Catering teams to ensure compliance integration.
• Participate in vendor onboarding, supplier briefings, and technical evaluations.
• Provide analytical insights on supplier performance and risk indicators.
• Support implementation of Qatar Airways’ food safety policies and environmental management objectives.
• Assist with emergency response or major operational disruptions as required.
• Perform other department duties related to this position as directed by the Head of the Department.
