About the role:

Store Keeper is responsible to efficiently control and administer all technical stores areas, and ensure all inventory correctly transacted on the computerized inventory system. He has to ensure that all QCAA/EASA and organization's Quality section instructions relating to materials and spares control are strictly adhered to, and to be fully conversant with all Technical Materials Section procedures.

Main duties include:

1.    Updating the computerized inventory system
2.    Providing stock items on-time to its final destination
3.    Assisting with receiving goods for inspection
4.    Dispatching items required at outside stations
5.    Checking stock for nil or not stocked situations
6.    Maintaining standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and safety precautions
7.    Protecting stores from entering by unauthorized persons
8.    Recording of daily duty log and preparing shift hand-over
9.    Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level:

  •  High School.
     

Qualification & Experience:

  • Five (5) years experience in Aircraft Stores.
  • Knowledge of packing for shipment by air and sea.
  • Knowledge of dangerous good regulations.
  • Experience in computerized inventory system.
     

Competencies:

  • Team orientation.
  • Prioritisation Skills, ability to work to deadlines.
  • Communication Skills.
  • Organising Skills.
