About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Standard & Compliance Manager to join our team at Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that QACC operations including in-flight meals, lounges and cafeterias comply with established internal standards, regulatory requirements and operational excellence. You will also be responsible to drive compliance by automating audit tracking, centralizing SOPs into a digital system, and developing real-time KPI dashboards accessible to senior leadership. This role also oversees on-the-job training, ramp operations compliance, and continuous quality improvements while ensuring that all corrective actions are efficiently logged, tracked, and resolved.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a digital compliance tracking system that centralizes all internal audit findings, and closure timelines. 
  • Automate the audit checklist process for operational standards to ensure real-time tracking and visibility. 
  • Conduct scheduled and surprise audits at all areas, ensuring adherence to QACC regulations and airline specific requirements. 

     

  • Prepare periodic compliance and risk dashboards, providing insights and data management reviews and decision making.
  • Lead the digitization of QACC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all functions to ensure alignment, consistency and version control. 
  • Ensure SOPs are systematically reviewed, updated, and aligned with audit findings, operational feedback, and best practices. 
  • Standardize documentation processes for operations to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop a digital SOP training system to ensure all employees receive ongoing education on updated procedures. 
  • Design and implement a centralized dashboard system that provides real-time visibility into compliance scores, audit findings, training progress, and quality performance metrics. 
  • Develop dashboards and analytical reports that provide visibility into compliance performance, improvement trends, and accountability at all levels. 
  • Provide data-driven insights to management for strategic decision-making and business reviews. 
  • Establish a feedback mechanism that allows operations teams to report concerns and receive real-time guidance on compliance matters.
  • Implement a continuous improvement framework where compliance findings directly inform SOP enhancements and operational changes. 
  • Conduct trend analysis of audit results, customer feedback etc. and share with the relevant stakeholders for insights. 
  • Ensure compliance and quality control teams work collaboratively to enhance production efficiency and eliminate process gaps. 
  • Drive a culture of quality and accountability by ensuring that all compliance issues are addressed promptly and effectively. 
  • Monitor customer complaints, airline audit feedback, and service quality reports, ensuring they are factored into ongoing improvements.
  • Develop a digital training management system that track certifications, renewals, and completion rates across all operational departments. 
  • Ensure all employees undergo structured training programs on below the wing & above the wing ramp operation, and Ramp Safety and security obligations.

Qualification

About You

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 7 years of job – related experience
  • Experience in food safety, quality assurance, catering performance or compliance management (preferably in airline catering, hospitality, or food production environment).
  • Experience in training staff on compliance, food safety, and hygiene best practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Business Analytics, Process Engineering and/or other related fields.
  • Command of English Language.
  • Ability to develop and implement SOPs for standardized operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with innovative thinking for solutions.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Knowledge of Power BI and other IT tools for compliance tracking, KPI monitoring, and dashboard reporting.
  • Familiar with QACC operations and requirement.
