Senior Food and Beverage Attendant

Job Purpose:
To ensure the seamless operation of catering services while upholding the highest standards of food and
beverage service and hospitality within Qatar Airways Lounges. This role plays a critical part in delivering an
exceptional customer experience by supporting day-to-day lounge activities, responding to customer needs,
maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and guiding junior staff. The position involves operational
leadership, service consistency, and contribution to a culture of excellence. 

Operations:

▪ Execute and oversee daily lounge operations in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to
ensure consistent service standards.
▪ Support the Food and Beverage team by anticipating customer needs and delivering prompt, personalized
service.
▪ Attend and lead daily team briefings, distribute tasks effectively to Food and Beverage Attendants, and
ensure alignment with lounge service goals.
▪ Ensure adequate availability of cutlery, beverages, and food stock based on forecasted customer volumes
and lounge capacity.
▪ Monitor buffet displays and à la carte offerings to ensure timely replenishment and presentation quality.
▪ Conduct spot checks on food temperatures, cleanliness, and customer touchpoints to maintain compliance
with hygiene standards.
▪ Manage and resolve customer feedback or complaints in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction and
loyalty.
▪ Coordinate with culinary, housekeeping, and facility teams to ensure smooth lounge operations and
immediate response to service issues.
▪ Maintain a high level of attentiveness to customers at all times, proactively offering assistance, refills, or
alternatives.
▪ Ensure VIP, First and Business Class travelers are familiarized with airline loyalty programs and service
preferences are adhered to in accordance with the premium service protocols.
▪ Maintain accurate records of inventory consumption, wastage, and requisitions for operational
transparency.
▪ Assist in training new Food and Beverage team members on service standards and customer interaction
protocols.
▪ Perform opening and closing duties for lounge areas including setup, system checks, and cleanliness
verification.
▪ Support the Lounge Supervisor with monitoring and enforcing service timing standards to ensure quick and
efficient delivery, especially during peak traffic periods.
▪ Support the Lounge Supervisor with ensuring that lounge ambiance (lighting, music, scent, temperature)
aligns with brand guidelines and enhances customer comfort.
