About the Role

This role operates at an advanced level within the Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC), responsible for leading complex cyber security incident investigations, driving threat detection improvements, and mentoring analysts. The position requires strong expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring across a global hybrid environment.

Your duties would include:

  • Leading proactive threat hunting and detection engineering using SIEM and threat intelligence.

  • Owning end-to-end incident response for high-severity cyber incidents across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.

  • Conducting advanced digital forensics including log, memory, and system analysis.

  • Developing and maintaining automation playbooks (SOAR) for response containment and remediation.

  • Enhancing detection logic and SOC capabilities based on post-incident learnings.

  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to SOC analysts.

  • Collaborating with Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, Cyber Security Platforms, Cyber Security Risk Management and Business Teams, during incidents and investigations.

  • Conducting proactive hunting campaigns across multiple workspaces, leveraging external Threat Intelligence (TI) and Custom Indicators.

Qualification

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our IT Cyber Security Operations team.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or a related field 
  • Minimum 6 years of IT experience with at least 4 years specializing in advanced level of cyber security monitoring and incident response.
  • Experience in Threat Hunting in a large and complex IT environment
  • Experience in Log Analysis for an enterprise level SIEM
  • Experience in Security Monitoring of devices and endpoints in a globally spread hybrid environment
  • Experience in implementing Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) tools
  • Experience in Digital Forensics
  • One of more of the following certifications
    • SANS GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
    • EC-Council Certified Incident Handler (ECIH)
    • EC-Council Certified Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)
    • SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
    • SANS GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)
    • SANS GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
    • SANS GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)
    • SANS GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM)
  • One or more of the following certifications
    • Microsoft SC-200
    • Microsoft SC-100
    • Microsoft AZ-500

Preferred

  • One of more of the following certifications
    • ISC2 CISSP
    • ISC2 CCSP
    • SANS GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
