As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Team in Doha as Senior Business Insights Analyst

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing a broad spectrum of business and market data, building modelling scenarios, analyzing commercial KPIs, and supporting commercial teams across the cargo organization to help stakeholders make data-informed decisions that deliver on revenue targets and objectives.

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:

•    Gather, analyze and report to the Management a broad spectrum of Cargo data and information at different granular levels (e.g., Origin and Distribution (O&D), customer segment, etc.) and different measures (i.e., revenue, yield, chargeable weight, capacity, load factors, etc.).
•    Build and maintain a deep understanding of competitive landscape, collaborating with relevant stakeholders including RM, NP, Global Sales to identify and evaluate the challenges and opportunities QR Cargo face across different areas of the business, and the unique position, weaknesses and strengths of QR Cargo. 
•    Generate and present information and findings in commercial meetings and be able to provide answers related to revenue development, business performance, competitors' performance and market trends. 
•    Build regular reports, visualizations (i.e., dashboards) and documentation to ensure those are up-to-date, error-free and accessible to relevant users. 
•    Assist line manager in duties related to managing forecast process including managing data requirements and gathering input from key stakeholders.
•    Build relationships with mid-management stakeholders to understand and provide guidance around data and reporting requirements, to deliver those where applicable.
•    Promote a culture of data-driven decisions across QR Cargo by monitoring usage of reports and visualizations and communicate the value of data and insights across the network.
•    Keep up-to-date with industry’s best practices and development in the area of market and business insights, and embed learnings into QR Cargo processes.
•    Develop tools and processes for enhancing data analysis and insights best practices in QR Cargo.
•    Participate in shaping and executing the data and insights strategy for the Profitability department.
