At Qatar Airways, we believe strong relationships are the foundation of success. We are seeking a collaborative and results-driven Senior Account Manager, Corporate Sales to strengthen customer partnerships and drive growth in New York, NY. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week in the office. The salary range for this position is $90,000–$100,000.
In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing and growing key customer relationships, ensuring Qatar Airways remains a trusted and preferred partner. You’ll develop and implement consistent strategies for both local and multinational clients. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue, minimizing cost of sale, and driving long-term value, through collaborative sales and marketing initiatives, you’ll elevate the quality and volume of revenue generated through our partners while streamlining distribution processes.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Build and nurture long-term strategic partnerships with key clients to drive loyalty and sustained growth.
- Prepare account development plan to achieve short, medium, and long-term mutual benefits
- Support the design and execution of sales strategies that unlock revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale, and encourage channel optimization.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities within your account portfolio.
- Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives and projects within your area of responsibility.
- Deliver timely market intelligence and insights from customers and competitors to inform strategy.
- Represent QR at trade events, promotions and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarization visits.
- Maximize sales opportunity/opportunities through value added partners i.e. Tourism Bodies, Hotels, alliance and codeshare partners.
- Must be able to drive incremental revenue through share shift, deliver against defined revenue targets and share goals within assigned portfolio
- Must collaborate with Alliance and Joint Business partners to excute coordinated commercial strategies.
Qualification
About you - The successful person will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Relevant customer facing commercial experience within the travel industry, ideally within Airline Sales, Travel and Hospitality.
- Experience in negotiating contracts
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Be comfortable with using commercial tools, analyzing sales data, and working with Salesforce, Tabluea, Prism,Amadeus and the NDC environment.
- You must also have the right to live and work in the US to be considered for this role. This role does not support any type of visa sponsorship.
