Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Group Risk, Safety and Corporate Security team as a Security Agent – ID & Passes to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As a Security Agent, you will be responsible the issuance of ID cards for Qatar Airways (QR) Group employees, consultants and contractors for the entry into the respect QR Group facilities. This role will also manage the processing of Airport and Vehicle Permits for QR Group employees and visitors, including all administrative support to the Group Security.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:
•    Process the employee enrolment verification in the GEMS system and review for ID cards across QR Group in order to maintain correct and accurate staff detail information 
•    Scheduling appointments for the issuance of an ID card
•    Taking the employee and contractors photographs and ensure that the photographs are taken in accordance with QR Group grooming standards, with the supervision of a grooming supervisor or an officer
•    Issuance of an ID card that corresponds to the appropriate system access levels to QR Group employees, consultants and contractors, including processing and storing the fingerprint biometrics in an ID card system
•    Maintaining electronic records of all transactions involving the issuance process of an ID card by updating the QR internal workflow system to confirm an issuance
•    Process the request of the lost or stolen ID cards, including the documentation for the payment of reissued ID cards that have been reported lost or stolen
•    Process the collection and cancellation of an ID cards during an employee separation clearance process and record it accordingly in the system
•    Processing and issuance of HIA Passenger Loading Bridge cards for flight deck and cabin crew, including the request for cabin crew temporary access to HIA and DIA
•    Perform regular inventory to ensure the necessary stock inventory of printing equipment and consumables is properly maintained
