Description
We are recruiting for Regional Manager Network Stations in Bangkok, Thailand.
The selected candidate will manage the ground operations in the region assigned to him/her in line with QR policies and procedures as well as Ground Services Manuals and Ground Operations Manual. Responsible for ensuring that the ground operations are conducted with the highest level of Customer Care, Operational Efficiency and Regulatory Compliance. Plan and organize resources within the region for existing stations and new station start-ups. Monitor expenditures of the region under their charge to ensure they are within approved budget. Responsible for all new station start-up activities within the assigned region.
Accountabilities:
· Play a leading role in the implementation of the 5 Star on the Ground Service strategy. Make a fundamental contribution to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the region and ensure the cascade of business strategy and performance objectives to the assigned regions
· Plan, manage and set up new airport operations in line with company expansion strategy. Ensure new stations are assessed, properly budgeted, relevant services contracted and ensure operational functionalities are in place
· Provide strategic leadership for the assigned region/s, including playing an active part in the construction of the annual airports budget while ensuring the overall station budget control is maintained within 3-5% budget variance target
· Ensure that global self-audit/ local proficiency checks are conducted and reported as per QR Ground Services regulations. Analyze non-conformity reports for effective corrective actions.
· Facilitate each station’s ability to achieve 5-Star on the Ground Service through trouble shooting, station visits, and meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor and assess station KPI’s throughout region and evaluate their continued effectiveness in meeting the 5-Star objectives. Ensuring that the agreed company KPI’s (OTP, SPI’s Damage and/or Red Bags) are achieved through monitoring of Airport Services Managers (ASMs), Regional Airport Services Managers (RASMs) and stations.
· Work with the VP to develop Business Contingency, Emergency and Accident Plan. Ensure all the assigned regional airports are trained and capable of dealing with all irregular operational disruptions by monitoring the training conducted and attended by all the ground services staff within their regions.
· Ensure the highest standards for all aspects of Ground Handling by third party handling agents and suppliers across the region. Report on local station deficiencies, operational and financial shortcomings.

Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years of job-related experience
Experience in Airline and airport operations with at least 5 years management experience
Experience of managing teams remotely across different countries a distinct advantage
Trained in all areas of airline operations including management
Good command of English Language
Managerial Skills- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
