About The Role:
We are hiring a Payroll Accountant , Payroll Finance to support Outstation Payroll operations.
The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, coordination with HR and external payroll providers, payroll accounting, and salary disbursements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in compliance with internal policies, controls, and agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute payroll processing using Oracle ERP, HRMS and Group Employees Management Systems.
- Handle payroll sub-processes including bonus payments, overtime, salary increments, leave salary advances, EOSB (End of Service Benefits) accruals, and final settlements.
- Act as the liaison with outstation HR teams, local staff, and payroll providers to conclude country payrolls.
- Review and validate payroll calculations received from external payroll consultants.
- Process salary payments through QR-enabled banking portals.
- Manage statutory payments related to payroll taxation and pension contributions, ensuring timely and compliant settlements.
- Own monthly payroll-related General Ledger reconciliations, including payroll clearing and control accounts.
- Perform payroll accounting, cost allocation, accruals (leave and bonus), and payroll cost analysis.
- Reconcile payroll data, identify variances, and escalate issues proactively.
- Support internal and external audits with payroll data and documentation.

Qualification
To be successful in this role you will need:
Experience:
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Exposure to Oracle HRMS or similar payroll systems.
- GBS or aviation industry payroll experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, accruals, statutory deductions, taxation, and pension accounting.
- Understanding of payroll cycles, payroll accounting entries, and statutory deductions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, and Follows defined SOPs and guidelines with discipline.
- Intermediate Excel and good proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and follow SOPs with discipline
- Preferred / Advantage: Experience in processing international or multi-country payrolls, with familiarity in payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and compliance across multiple countries.
