Qatar Airways is recruiting for a Key Accounts Manager to join our Global sales team.
This role will establish, own, manage, grow and retain a portfolio of B2B global corporate customers with a focus to drive revenue and implement best practices through deep understanding of customers’ needs, challenges and opportunities within their business.
Based in Central London, you will be responsible for the identification of new clients, acquisition, implementation, development and retention of a line of business that Qatar Airways manages and develops globally. You will develop tailored account plans and solutions by delivering strategic advice to drive customer success.
There will be some travel as part of this role within Europe and Qatar.
Other key strategic & operational duties will include:
· Developing strong customer relationships that deliver impactful results on ambitious annual targets.
· Responsible for account management across the full sales cycle (identification, acquisition, implementation, development, and retention) for the identified line of business. For all accounts in the portfolio, account management applies for all points-of-sale and points-of-origin.
· Achieve and exceed the assigned revenue target and personal revenue target for each financial year.
· Initiate and drive negotiations by conducting regular reviews with clients, to understand their requirements and provide them with competitive options to derive maximum revenue. Lead and participate in negotiations with new and existing clients to optimize the full potential of an air partnership, beneficial to both parties
· Developing revenue objectives and KPIs in conjunction with key stakeholders.
· Effectively manage and drive the performance of existing line of business and source new business opportunities through ownership and active management to develop quality revenue.
· Work closely with the client management division TMC’s partners to seeking new opportunities
· Aligning to key internal stakeholders & working as part of a cross functional and regional team.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree ideally but not essential
· Relevant experience managing corporate sales portfolio within the Aviation / Travel industry.
· Strong experience and deep understanding of account management at a global level.
· Data analytical experience, ability to analyze and interpret data to make business decisions.
· Ability to manage multiple external accounts in various stages of development.
· Exceptional communication, negotiating and influencing skills
