Manager Ground Operations | Qatar Executive

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manager Ground Operations to lead the planning, management and continuous improvement of ground handling services for Qatar Executive operations.

The role is responsible for overseeing ground handling service delivery, supporting operational readiness, managing service provider relationships, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and driving operational efficiency across the network.

Other key responsibilities include:

•    Develop and implement strategies to enhance ground handling performance, operational efficiency and cost control across the business aviation network. 
•    Oversee ground handling service providers and monitor service delivery standards for Qatar Executive operations, including load control activities. 
•    Lead the negotiation, award and ongoing management of ground handling contracts and service level agreements with service providers. 
•    Prepare, develop and maintain the Ground Operations Manual (GOM) and the Dangerous Goods (DG) Manual, ensuring both are kept up to date with applicable regulatory requirements. 
•    Lead the implementation and oversight of Dangerous Goods processes, policies and regulatory compliance requirements. 
•    Manage ground operational arrangements, including coordination of aircraft handling activities, landing and parking permits, and slot arrangements. 
•    Conduct new station risk assessments with respect to ground handling and establish safe, compliant operations at new destinations. 
•    Plan, coordinate and conduct ground handling and de-icing audits, and manage the resolution of audit findings and corrective action plans. 
•    Manage ground handling incidents and accidents, including investigation, reporting and liaison with Legal and Insurance functions. 
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the analysis of operational data, trends, incidents and service performance metrics. 
•    Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, airport authorities, regulators and external service providers. 
•    Lead, coach and develop teams while promoting a culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence.
