About the Role


As Manager F&B Planning & Development, you will lead the end‑to‑end planning, development and governance of the onboard Food & Beverage portfolio, covering approximately 700 SKUs with an annual inventory value of USD 110 million, ensuring service availability, cost efficiency, operational feasibility and alignment with brand standards.
You will integrate demand planning, supplier strategy and tender execution with specialist leadership of the wine and spirits programme, ensuring both operational excellence and a differentiated premium onboard experience.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

Strategic

  • Establish an optimized inventory framework balancing availability, cost efficiency, and SKU complexity to minimize excess stock and obsolescence
  • Build and govern a forward-looking tender pipeline ensuring timely sourcing, clear specifications, and seamless execution
  • Strengthen the end-to-end supply chain model from sourcing through to onboard delivery across global operations
  • Develop a high-performing supplier ecosystem delivering quality, reliability, and innovation
  • Drive continuous enhancement of the F&B portfolio, including a differentiated wine and beverage program aligned with brand standards

Operational

  • Lead end-to-end inventory governance across key categories, ensuring alignment between demand, lifecycle, and onboard availability
  • Manage a ~USD 110M inventory portfolio, driving SKU optimisation, stock ageing control, and cost efficiency
  • Ensure alignment between planning outputs, stock positions, and operational requirements to maintain uninterrupted service
  • Govern accuracy of inventory data across ERP, QOSMOS, and HORIZON systems
  • Oversee the full tender lifecycle, from planning and specifications through to supplier alignment and contract execution
  • Ensure seamless integration between tender outcomes, planning requirements, and operational delivery
  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing strategies, logistics flows, and catering operations
  • Mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity of supply across all regions
  • Lead supplier performance and development, ensuring quality, reliability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive end-to-end F&B product development and execution, including the wine & spirits programme and strategic partnerships
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in F&B planning, sourcing, product development, or airline catering operations.
  • WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines (DipWSET) or higher
  • Proven experience in F&B planning, sourcing, product development, or airline catering operations at scale
  • Strong analytical capability with commercial acumen
  • Excellent command of English
  • Proven leadership and people management capability, including coaching and developing teams
  • Experience working with industry experts (Master of Wine, sommeliers, mixologists) 
  • Experience with global suppliers and premium hospitality or aviation environments

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
