About the role:
Ensure all planned theoretical training is delivered in accordance with the organizational procedures and protocols while ensuring a high level of efficiency through timely allocation and management of resources. Shall provide technical and procedural guidance for instructors and students to ensure continuous improvement of staff competencies. Supervise training development or update projects to ensure timely completion and provide regular updates to training management of status and resource utilization.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Serve as the focal for providing technical and procedural guidance to instructors.
- Evaluate instructor competencies for adequacy and further development.
- Review and track progress of training related projects listed below, allocate resources to ensure timely completion,
- Training material and TNA periodic review or update processes
- Training software updates
- Ensure all necessary resources are allocated for theoretical training
- Permissions for field visits are obtained
- Simulator access is reserved
- MSTD resources are verified as available and serviceable
- Instructors are assigned for training based on their terms of reference
- Training material distribution or accessibility to students
- Maintain and submit training man-hour utilization reports and project status weekly updates to the training management
- Keep MMT – 147 Operations/Standards/Examination updated on all issues related to the training operations.
- Bring to the attention of the MMT – 147 Operations/Standards/Examination of any incident involving disciplinary actions for students or Instructors.
- Liaise with Base/Line maintenance and/or workshops in organizing field visits.
- Deputise MMT – 147 Operations/Standards/Examination in his/her absence.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualification
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
- EASA Part 147 Certificate of Recognition (training + examination + practical training + practical assessment) issued by a Part 147 training organization for a B777, B787 and A350 type training
- Holding valid EASA Part 145 release to service authorization on the B777, B787 and A350 aircraft types or Terms of reference as a type training instructor on B2 stream .
- Train the Trainer course certificate.
- Has been involved in development and review of Training Needs Analysis.
- Able to work with MS office applications.
- Has performed aircraft maintenance activities
- Practical and technical knowledge.
- Knowledge about regulatory requirements for technical training (QCAR/EASA Part 145/147/66).
