As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Team in Doha as Lead Cargo Operations Procedure Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Cargo Operations Procedure Officer to contribute to the development, review and documentation of cargo operational policies and procedures. The role supports regulatory compliance, operational excellence and the continuous enhancement of cargo processes across the network.

Other responsibilities include:

•    Monitor local and country regulations and support the development and update of policies to ensure cargo compliance.
•    Collaborate with cargo, group and operational stakeholders to improve policies, procedures and related communications.
•    Coordinate policy and procedure updates and support timely communication across the network.
•    Liaise with Ground Services and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational policies and procedures.
•    Document cargo operations policies, procedures, revisions and guidelines as directed.
•    Act as a subject matter expert in assigned areas and support departmental initiatives as required.

Qualification

About You

•    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience
•    Experience in cargo operations and/or technical writing.
•    Experience developing and documenting business workflow processes.
•    Experience recommending or developing policies and procedures.
•    Knowledge of cargo warehouse operations; experience in freighter operations will be an added advantage.
•    Sound understanding of IATA regulations, including Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), Live Animals Regulations (LAR), Perishable Cargo Regulations (PCR), and Temperature Control Regulations (TCR).
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
•    Knowledge of cargo system i.e. CROAMIS will be an added advantage.
