About the role
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our CBI - Central team as a Lead Ancillary Sales Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar.
As the Lead Ancillary Sales Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Ancillary Services team in product development planning and project implementation across all Qatar Airways sales channels. In addition, you will have responsibility of carrying out ancillary products day-to-day operations and enhancements to current sales channels capabilities to generate incremental revenue to support commercial ancillary targets.
Specific responsibilities for the role include:
· Apply good understanding of airline commercial principles and analyze ancillary performance by product and identify enhancement opportunities.
· Evaluate and analyse new ancillary products and innovative technologies that meets Qatar Airways Ancillary Strategy, including providing analysis, support and strategic insights.
· Provide proactive and constructive insights to Ancillary team to capture opportunities to increase revenue.
· Provide proactive reporting and forecasting of Ancillary performance to guide in decision making process.
· Develop and enforce business insights dashboards and reports to enhance decision making and business requests.
· Prepare and present revenue performance reports on ancillary services on a regular basis, including performance reviews and Revenue reconciliations with ancillary partners.
· Perform other related functions, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications.
· Prior experience in managing fare products and incentive tools with trade partners will be an added advantage.
· Knowledge of Ancillary services, current and future products and technologies that are shaping in this area will be an added advantage.
· A proven ability to work and negotiate within a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.
· Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
· Highly developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written English).
