Description

You will be creating added value to the QR Group by acting as a Finance business partner and single point of contact for senior/executive management in Cargo by building a trustworthy relationship with key stakeholders through meaningful and insightful reporting /analyses and profitability improvement recommendations to both business and finance stakeholders.

You will be bridging Finance with the respective business and you will act as a “liaison” focusing on “connecting the dots” within QR Group. Collaboration is key in this role, as is a sharp financial acumen. You will also ensure compliance with Qatar Airways accounting policies & procedures Qatar Airways accounting policies & procedures.

Qualification

1.       Contribute to the development of Qatar Airways Group goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization by ensuring optimal allocation of resources and providing insightful information to the senior management team.

2.       Responsible for the development of strategic financial plans and budgets by providing management with all information necessary to measure financial performance that will assist and steer Revenue Management towards sustained profitability.

3.       Advise the CFO and other key members of the finance senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities and policy matters.

4.       Ensure effective communication and relationship between senior management Finance and Cargo .

5.       Manage, capture and integrate market intelligence into strategic planning, ensuring an appropriate focus on delivering competitive advantage.

6.       Financial analyses to include weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting of KPIs, cost of investment and potential financing scenarios, realistic revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impact, sensitivity analysis, generation of EVA metrics including IRR, NPV, and payback analysis, and highlighting any project risks and opportunities.

7.       To present an objective view of the financial situation and provide sound recommendations for the allocation of resources in the most efficient way to achieve Cargo Revenue Management goals and objectives.

8.       Incorporate forecast planning into the organization and ensure provisions are made for major risks and opportunities defined from the course of normal operations.

9.       Responsible to lead the units and strategic business drivers to determine investment allocation, creating comprehensive and highly structured Business Cases for proposed projects, ascertaining investment cost and benefits to scope, dependencies, risk, and its alignment to strategic objectives, validating projects ROI and NPV.

10.   Creating awareness of the financial dynamics to the senior management of the business through transparent, reliable reports, analyses, and presentations with a focus on KPIs and key messages.
