Qatar Airways (QR) has embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Group Sales Coordinator in France.
Based in Paris, you will be responsible for the coordination of Group Sales and ensuring that the team reaches or exceeds set sales targets. You will work to identify and support group movements that will help to contribute towards the region’s revenue.
Specific Accountabilities include:
• Plan, organize, and manage group sales for France to ensure efficient and economical handling.
• Ensure overall utilization of booked seats for more than half of capacity, measured from 90 days prior to departure.
• Evaluate requests for potential business that will materialize and contribute relevant input for sales and capital expenditure budgets. Monitor results to ensure revenue growth for the station.
• Handle group business for Europe and work alongside the sales team to guide and help contribute towards the station achieving its assigned targets.
• Receive and evaluate group requests from travel agencies and/or corporate sectors to ensure timely action and improve materialization ratio.
• Understand flight loads prior to submitting group requests for quick response and effective materialization.
• Follow up with the group desk and inform clients accordingly after proposals have been sent, to ensure materialization and avoid the risk of diverting business to competitors.
• Ensure that PNRs are updated, and that tickets properly reflect and are associated with passengers after issuance.
• Check and verify group materialization ratio as per QR policy to process refunds. In cases where re-evaluation is needed, resend group requests to head office for proper re-evaluation as per competition.

• Sales operations/groups experience within the aviation/travel industry
• Experience using a GDS system
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent French and English language skills
