Qatar Airways are excited to be launching a new opportunity to join our Global Leisure Sales team as a Global Sales Officer.
As a Global Sales Officer, you will provide support and assistance to Global Leisure Sales that complements their requirements in achieving sales targets by implementing sales tools in line with sales strategies and objectives to enable revenue growth and revenue protection, while keeping a clear focus on commercial alignment.
You will also drive focus on key areas of performance by developing insightful dashboards and providing analytical insights on performance and trends in line with the Commercial strategy.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will :
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support strategic planning and performance tracking.
• Prepare intelligent reports & analytics for client & internal stakeholder business reviews.
• Provide initial and ongoing analysis of QR opportunity and competitive circumstances within a changing global marketplace in order to support Global Sales leaders with informed commercial decisions and reduce speed to market.
• Ensure timely and proactive communication with internal parties through being an effective interface for the Global Leisure Sales function.
• Support the implementation of improvements to the administration tasks ensuring Global Leisure Sales delivers & meets deadlines/speed to market and to provide the commercial organization with visibility and support in making decisions.
• Support in sharing best practice techniques with colleagues both in HQ and outstations through ongoing one to one communication and cross-functional team meetings.
• Participate in & support the incentive agreement processes both from a sales generation & cost reduction standpoint in order to support the business in achieving speed to market and maximize return on investment.
• Support Global Leisure Sales’ wider commercial objectives across relevant functions by being involved and contributing in the formulation, development and implementation of tools and products that would facilitate and enhance station performance capabilities.
• Support-User-Acceptance-Testing of products and systems developed for the business and delivered by IT Teams in order to ensure accurate and timely delivery of commercial products to all relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with Global CBI and Revenue Management, as well as other data stakeholders, to improve the data processing flow and the data adoption by Regional CBI and sales team.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualification
About You
A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:
• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification (Diploma or Equivalent) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
• Advanced skills in Tableau and Power BI
• Ability to handle and process large blocks of data and prepare executive summaries
• Skills in Data Mining
• Skills in data extraction and report creation
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Suite (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge/understanding of the key elements of global airline sales
• Excellence command of English language
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Proven commercial skills and business acumen (able to spot and interpret market trends)
• Knowledge of travel industry
