Description

Qatar Airways is excited to launch a new opportunity to join our Global Leisure Sales team as a Global Sales Officer.

As a Global Sales Officer, you will provide support and assistance to the Global Leisure Sales team to help achieve sales targets by implementing sales tools aligned with sales strategies and objectives. This role will contribute to revenue growth and protection while maintaining strong commercial alignment.

You will also focus on key performance areas by developing insightful dashboards and providing analytical insights on performance and trends in line with the Commercial strategy.

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will:

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
  • Prepare analytical reports for client and internal stakeholder business reviews.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of opportunities and competitive conditions to support Global Sales leaders in making informed commercial decisions.
  • Ensure timely and proactive communication with internal stakeholders, acting as an effective interface for the Global Leisure Sales function.
  • Support improvements in administrative processes to enhance efficiency, meet deadlines, and improve speed to market.
  • Share best practices with colleagues across HQ and outstations through collaboration and cross-functional meetings.
  • Support incentive agreement processes to drive sales performance and optimize cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tools and products that enhance station performance capabilities.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of systems and products to ensure accurate and timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Global CBI, Revenue Management, and other data stakeholders to improve data processing and adoption.
  • Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification

About You:

A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • High School or vocational qualification (Diploma or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Advanced skills in Tableau and Power BI.
  • Ability to handle and process large datasets and prepare executive summaries.
  • Skills in data mining.
  • Experience in data extraction and report creation.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Understanding of key elements of global airline sales.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Proven commercial skills and business acumen, with the ability to interpret market trends.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry.
