About the role:

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations – ITC team as a Front Office Assistant to be based in Doha, Qatar.

At Flight Operations - ITC Department, we are committed to offer state-of-the-art training facilities to cater to different disciplines in the commercial aviation industry, through simulation-based training solutions.

We are looking for a Front Office Assistant who is customer focused and drives customer satisfaction while responding to customer enquiries.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

  • Attend to all queries and requirements of Trainer/Trainee both internal and external guests.

  • Maintain front desk records which includes documentary filing, inventory count and coordinating for training material required for training needs.

  • Act as IT support staff in resolving some minor IT issues like keyboard or mouse, projector and sound system not working, desktop not starting and any other issues that may arise during the shift. Also providing administrative/operational support during non-office hours and weekends.

  • Maintain device and classroom logs as well as have them sent to the concerned team for auctioning in case of noted defects.

  • Assist front line crew by checking in AIMS for their simulator schedules, classrooms, FTD’s, reporting time, number of trainees and other queries raised.

  • Using of SIMS application for booking classrooms, simulators, FTD’s, Door trainers. Updating of training material issued for the session and mark no-show for the session not utilized on booked slots.

Qualification

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant vocational, tertiary, or trade qualification with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a service oriented, facilities, hospitality, or customer focused environment.

  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy, with the ability to use standard office productivity tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain records, prepare basic reports, and manage documentation accurately.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated attention to quality, presentation, and detail, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
