We are recruiting for Finance MDM Specialist for Ahmedabad, India.
The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance, quality, and lifecycle management of Finance master data across the enterprise. This role ensures that Finance master data in accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations, enabling efficient financial operations and reporting.
Accountabilities:
· Establish and maintain authoritative definitions, standards, and naming conventions for Finance master data objects; collate mandatory attributes and validations per Finance policies.
· Maintain data policies, procedures and data quality rules in line with the organization’s master data management framework.
· Work closely with cross functional teams including ERP, Finance and data to develop solutions and drive actions to enable Finance master data objects clean-up.
· Monitor and report progress on a timely manner to key stakeholders.
· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Finance data accuracy and compliance metrics.
· Monitor and improve data quality across Finance master data domains (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Customer, Bank Accounts, Fixed Assets).
· Develop KPIs and dashboards for data quality performance.
· Manage ongoing data profiling, validation and quality assessment for Finance master data.
· Prepare and publish data quality results and insights for remediation.
· Manage implementation of data quality rules and principles for Finance master data.
· Own master-data quality targets across all Finance business functions.
· Oversee creation, maintenance, and retirement of Finance master data objects.
· Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
· Ensure data consistency across legal entities and business units.
· Apply predefined rules and guidelines to clean up the data master.
· Partner with IT and Finance teams to optimize MDM tools and workflows.
· Support integration of Finance master data across ERP and related systems.
· Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and other business units.
· Lead governance forums and communicate updates to senior leadership.
· Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance automation.
· Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes impacting Finance data.
· Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification
· High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification/ Diploma or equivalent with minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
· Experience in data management, with Finance master data management role.
· Strong understanding off Finance master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with shareholders at all levels.
· Strong understanding and exposure to data management systems and enterprise solutions.
· Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies.
· Finance master data management experience.
· Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
· Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and Finance.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a structured project environment.
· Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
· Experience in aviation, retail or large enterprise ERP migrations is a plus.
