Demi Chef De Partie| Lounges & Premium Operations

About the Role:

As a Demi Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a smaller section of kitchen with a specific team and responsibilities towards a section of the lounge operation. 
This role ensures quality, safety and appearance of producing and service of food to our premium passengers. Understand and demonstrate the importance of upholding highest personal and professional standard, have a positive attitude towards Qatar Airways customers.  

Operational:

⦁    Ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene practices as per policies and procedures set by Company. 
⦁    Support the Induction of new Commis Chefs and new staff.
⦁    Attend and actively engage in team and shift briefings.
⦁    Participate in the preparation of menu items and actively involved in the presentation of buffets.
⦁    Assist the team in preparing menu orders and deliver to the Sous Chef for approval and final processing.
⦁    Liaise with stores and other departments to ensure smooth operations. 
⦁    Allocate Chefs for tasks within the kitchen and other areas as required.
⦁    Ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained per shift.
⦁    Ensure FIFO is followed in kitchen stores and production areas.
⦁    Ensure effective communication with all the team members within the kitchen.
⦁    Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed b the Head of the Department.
