Chef De Partie| Lounges & Premium Operations

About the Role:

As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for day-to-day operation of a larger section of kitchen with a specific team and responsibilities towards a section of lounge operation. You will also be responsible to manage the assigned section ensuring food quality and collaboration with Sous Chefs. Also and oversee junior kitchen staff and maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Operational:

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards as per policies and procedures set by Company.
• Train and coach Demi Chef De Parties and new staff according to Company standards.
• Oversee preparation of food and monitor presentation.
• Prepare menu orders and transfer to Sous Chef for approval and finalisation.
• Liaise with stores and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Allocate team members for tasks according to requirements.
• Ensure FIFO is followed in kitchen stores and production areas.
• Roster employees according to staffing requirements and recommend roster alterations according to business needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, projected consumptions and ordering requirements.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of processes.
• Support and promote changes and improvements to the business.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
