We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cargo Sales Manager to join our Cargo Management Team in London, Heathrow
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, nurturing client relationships and leading the UK Sales team to achieve revenue targets. 


Some of the responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and track sales strategies and the marketing plan to optimize QR revenue and presence in the UK market. 
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with existing customers, and prospect potential clients
- Monitor industry trends and utilise market intelligence on customers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats. 
- Effective marketing of QR Cargo range of products and services.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management
- Negotiate short, medium and long-term pricing initiatives to mutual benefit which are consistent with the region’s revenue goals and pricing guidelines.
- Evaluate and improve the team’s objectives, plans, procedures and practices. 
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to collaboratively deal with challenges and provide high quality service
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to the management team. 
- Steer a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Leading Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers
- Develop and mentor direct reports, ensuring succession planning is in place.

Qualifications

About you
- Minimum of Bachelor / University level or equivalent level with relevant experience within air cargo/ airfreight industry
- Strong knowledge of cargo commercial and operations
- Strong sales, negotiation and marketing skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work with data, drive digitization and innovation, promotes change management 
- Confidence to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom
- Have proven track record of managing a medium sized team.
