About the role

As a Cargo Revenue Integrity Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the revenue integrity team and for designing, maintaining and executing processes related to revenue integrity to ensure the expected revenue is generated from all offered and services across the Qatar Airways Cargo network. This involves conception, continuous monitoring and improvement of the Early Warning Signal tools in line with business complexity and growth. Constantly review any Cargo billing disputes or revenue adjustments request and guide user departments follow the waiver and write off approval process. Analyze revenue leakage in a data-driven way, identify root causes and propose corrective actions to the management.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop, implement, monitor and review processes in line with increasing complexity of the business. Manage and influence internal stakeholders in the interest of revenue integrity to safeguard the interests of the division globally.
  • Manage revenue leakage through analysis of bookings, rates/tariffs, other charges, master data, system computation and financial data. Subsequently engage with stakeholders to conclude root cause analyses and act where required.
  • Review the revenue adjustments request and waiver and write off approval process to ensure it is approved by the authorized approver as per the policy. Contribute to the implementation of a revenue integrity KPI structure.
  • Provide guidelines and analysis to the management for target setting and planning to reach these targets.
  • Review and develop revenue integrity of the business at a region, station, product and customer level; Engage with the network and revenue accounting to assure processes are implemented and targets met.
  • Translate revenue integrity principles into business rules and subsequently into system input for the automation of revenue integrity processes.
  • Highlight any issue identified through the Early Warning Signal tools/ report and works closely with respective departments for corrective action.
  • Continuously monitor process compliance, collaboratively engage with stakeholders to improve compliance and reduce revenue leakage.
  • Perform other department duties related to this position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About you

A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications: 

  • Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential with at least 5 years of job-related experience.
  • Understanding of Cargo business, rates/ tariffs, TACT rules, Cargo billing and revenue processes knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI tools and business Intelligence and statistical tools such as Business Objects and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and audit skills which include the ability to apply ethical judgment and evaluating risks that could lead to revenue loss.
  • Ability to quickly analyze the data to identify trends, summarize results and provide conclusions or recommendations.
  • Strong ethical standards and feeling of responsibility.
