About the role:
As an Aircraft Mechanic – Nacelle Shop You will be responsible for delivering aircraft maintenance services to support operational requirements, as directed by your supervisor. All maintenance and related activities must be carried out in strict compliance with company and customer procedures, regulatory requirements, and approved aircraft maintenance data.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform aircraft inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing activities using approved tools and equipment.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, and assemble aircraft components and structures.
- Carry out sheet metal and composite repairs, including work on Inlet Cowls, Fan Cowls, Thrust Reversers, and Exhaust components.
- Perform major structural repairs such as Lip Skin Replacement, Doubler Repairs, and Bonded Panel Replacements.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and technical publications.
- Test aircraft systems and components to identify and rectify defects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and workshop standards at all times.
- Perform any other duties related to the position as assigned by the Department.

Qualification
About you:
⦁ High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience,
⦁ OR
⦁ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
⦁ Degree, Diploma, or recognized License in Aircraft Maintenance.
⦁ Basic ICAO Type II License.
⦁ Sheet Metal and Composite experience with hands-on exposure to Inlet Cowls, Fan Cowls, Thrust Reversers, and Exhaust components.
⦁ Experience in major structural repairs, including Lip Skin Replacement, Doubler Repairs, and Bonded Panel Replacements.
⦁ Trade-related certifications and/or OEM component training.
⦁ Sufficient skills within the assigned work area or minimum 1 year of experience in a similar workshop within a recognized airline or MRO.
