About Your Job:

Please note: We are currently advertising a number of aircraft engineer and mechanic opportunities. Please only apply for the vacancy that most suits your skills and experience. As a B2 engineer in Light Base Maintenance, you will be responsible for delivering aircraft maintenance services to directly support operations. You will plan activities in an effective manner, review work procedures and standards and propose improvements to procedures to ensure effectiveness. As well as being responsible for the final release of work accomplished by mechanics, you will also ensure tasks are performed to meet company standards and targets such as despatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. You will also plan the work of the technicians and aircraft mechanics and provide guidance and on the job training to them.

About You:

You must hold a recognised diploma in aircraft trade with avionics background, be a holder of ICAO type 2 license (preferably EASA B2).

You must also have detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals and company procedures, and a sound knowledge of air legislation. The aircraft type training course which you had undergone should be level 3 Aircraft Type training from EASA Part 147 approved training organisations that include both theoretical and practical elements.

 

Experience Required:

Within Maintenance, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 of our specific aircraft types (320/330/340/350/380/777/787) with at least 5 years certifying experience out of which you should have atleast 2-3 years experience as approved certifying engineer (B2) in base maintenance (not including OJT). We will also accept single type ratings on 330, 380, 777 or 787 aircraft.
