About Your Job:
You will be responsible for the safe handling and transportation of aircraft spares and materials, tools and equipment and other technical materials within Technical Stores locations, between Technical stores and aircraft maintenance sites, workshops etc. This involves driving company vehicles, operation of handling equipment and careful handling of aircraft parts and associated documentation.
You Key Accountabilities include:
You will ensure aircraft spares and materials, tools and equipment are handled and with care, in accordance with company and manufacturer’s requirements and are delivered to the right location at the right time and relevant records are maintained.
Understand dangerous goods and ESDS handling requirements so as material and personal safety requirements are fulfilled. Ensure parts are protected from the environment and possibility of man-handling damage at all times.
You will ensure paperwork is correct and attached to all aircraft parts at the time of collection.
You will assist in Stores areas in Senior Store Keeper Capacity as operational requirements dictate.
Ensure the maximum optimization of company vehicles and planning aircraft spares delivery accordingly considering the required delivery time.
Flexibility with respect to assisting with the handling of aircraft parts in stores, if not delivering to other locations.
Understand the value of the spares, ensure parts are loaded correctly and safely secured on company vehicles, as well as handled correctly to avoid any damage or malfunction.
You will report any incident occurred during handling, which would likely to cause damage. Recognise and report suspected damages, improper packing and wrong labelling.
We are looking for a High school graduate with valid Qatar Driving License. You should have a minimum of 2 years of job related experience preferably in an airline or MRO stores environment. Must be a Doha resident with NOC from current Sponsor.
Preference will be given to candidates having heavy vehicle license with experience of operating material handling equipment's such as 3 ton trucks, forklifts etc. You should be proficient in English reading and writing, and knowledge of Arabic language will be an added advantage.
