We are Qatar Duty Free – a shopping emporium at the heart of Qatar’s state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport with more than 40,000 square meters of combined retail and dining.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the brand store both front and back of the operations. Brand Manager will lead the store team to achieve QDFC/brand objectives of maximising sales, exceptional visual merchandising, driving GUEST experience and maintaining cost controls, and employee satisfaction.

You will also be responsible to develop brand vision, positioning and overall strategies to achieve overall business goals of the brand. You will manage the shop floor in accordance with Qatar Duty Free & respective brands policy to establish an operation that meets performance levels as outlined by management and also maintain a daily report. You will maintain a high level of services through capable and well trained staff and submit suggestions to senior management for any improvements required in operations.

You will coordinate with the merchandising/visual merchandising team on space and stock management of the shop, ensure the maximum usage of resources available to maximising sales as well as ensure visual standards through brand guidelines to ensure brand is properly represented

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business course in Merchandise Planning, Sales, Marketing and Promotions.

You should have at least 5 years’ of job related experience with at least 3 years in a multi brand retailing company in the luxury category management / brand management function. 

You should also possess managerial skills such as ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, strong mentoring and coaching skills, ability to train and develop subordinate's skills, and ability to foster teamwork among team members. Furthermore, you should have well- developed interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
