About Your Job:

In this role you will be responsible to  coordinate all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance, refurbishment, modification embodiment, equipment specification upgrades and other equipment related maintenance tasks. Specifically, be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operational output of the Workshop through effective utilization of resources including manpower, spares and consumables in order to meet operational demand for serviceable operational equipment.

You will be also responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Liaise with Workshop Supervisors to ensure safe and effective supervision of all workshop activities.
  • Maintain the integrity of the original quality and manufacturer’s specification of equipment when carrying out repairs as cost effectively as possible
  • Record all maintenance and repair activities systematically in order to maintain service history files.
  • Coordinate with section officers regarding equipment and vehicle maintenance in order to ensure that equipment and vehicles are in good order and condition.
  • Devise and issue preventive maintenance program as per equipment manual requirements.
  • Establish Workshop teams’ objectives (like Serviceability, PMI Completion, Delays, etc.) and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
     Oversee and supervise employees.
About You:

To be considered in this role you must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent with minimum four (4) years’ of job related experience, with extensive experience of working as a Technician, Lead Technician and supervisor within a large maintenance organization, preferably in aviation ground support or heavy industry and have strong knowledge of vehicle and GSE maintenance.

You should have excellent spoken and written communication skills, effective presentation skills, well-developed technical fault diagnostic skills, able lead, manage, inspire and engage a large multi-cultural workforce and proficiency in MS office applications with expertise in MS Excel.
