In this position, you will set up, own and continuously develop material planning processes, create, review and participate in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). You will address key raw material processing functions, measuring product yields are in line with purchasing as well as regularly monitor measuring equipment to ensure specification weights are being adhered to.
Additionally, you will carry out specific auditing at various points of the production process, example final customer order physically matches the dispatched load ensuring up counts and down counts are actioned accordingly to reduce over boarding of meal. You will lead your team to success by overseeing daily activities as recruiting, training, developing and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Also, you will ensure correct system processes/budget codes are adopted and orders are approved in accordance with company policy. You will use your analytical skills to review and verify all wastage reports and provide feedback to management and stakeholders on trend analysis in order to control cost and budget.
