You will manage the day to day operation of the shops effectively and efficiently maximizing sales and ensuring the security of stocks and cash in accordance with company policy of Qatar Duty Free.

In this role you will ensure that maximum sales are achieved and that all members of the shop floor team promote and maintain customer relations to the highest standards. It will also be your job to maintain and develop the image of Qatar Duty Free. You will ensure that all necessary stock is ordered from stores and or bonded warehouse to maintain the correct stock level in each department at all times so that they can meet sales targets and also ensure that customer complaint /problem is dealt with quickly & efficiently.

You will also be responsible for staff rosters to ensure maximum coverage on the shop floor and that all fixtures are correctly merchandised and price ticketed in accordance with company policy. It will be your job to make sure that a high degree of security with regards to stocks and cash prevails at all times and that be responsible for all monetary transactions on the shop floor which includes correcting register problems, correct administration of returns and approves staff discounts.

About You:

Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ of job related experience with at least 3 years in the Retail or Service Industry.  You will hold a Bachelors Degree. You must have prior experience in working for a high performance driven organisation and knowledge of airport and service industry is preferable. You will have experience with retail I.T systems and working knowledge of cash handling, banking and working with budgets.

You have the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, strong mentoring and coaching skills, ability to train and develop subordinate's skills, ability to foster teamwork among team members, well developed interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
