Qatar Airways Group is proud to be an employer of choice for many candidates from around the world.

We’re aware that various individuals and organisations offer false employment opportunities with Qatar Airways Group in an attempt to gain personal information and money from potential applicants.

We take recruitment fraud very seriously and want to make you aware of potential risks, to help stop you falling victim to such schemes.

If you suspect you have been contacted by someone falsely claiming to recruit for Qatar Airways Group, please ignore any request for money or personal information and report it along with all accompanying e-mails and documents.

WHAT IS RECRUITMENT FRAUD 
Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scheme that offers false employment opportunities to people. This type of fraud typically uses online services such as false websites, unsolicited emails, phone calls, texts and offer letters claiming to be from Qatar Airways Group.

HOW TO IDENTIFY RECRUITMENT FRAUD 
Here are a number of warning signs you should be aware of:
EMAIL
The email does not come from an official Qatar Airways Group email, our emails always end in:
@qatarairways.com.qa
or
@<country email domain>.qatarairways.com"
(i.e: any Qatar Airways station in India will have email address ending as @in.qatarairways.com).

Any e-mail styled with the Qatar Airways logo but using a different e-mail domain is not genuine.

Qatar Airways Group careers website address is: https://careers.qatarairways.com/global/en/

We will never request a prospective applicant to visit any other website or use a different web address.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
You are provided an offer or guaranteed offer before you have had a formal interview.

You are asked to pay a fee for visa/immigration, taxes or travel fees etc.

You are asked to interview over Instant Messenger or similar program.

You are guaranteed a work-from-home or remote working position.

You are asked to complete visa application forms or agree to terms and conditions before you have had an interview.

There is an urgency to provide personal information such as address details, date of birth, passport details, etc. very early in the process.

You are called from a mobile phone number, rather than office landline number.

The communication is poorly formatted or contains obvious spelling or grammatical errors.
QATAR AIRWAYS GROUP WILL NEVER 
We will never request you to e-mail information to a common e-mail address such as Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail
Regardless of the origin of the e-mail, you should always question the authenticity of any unsolicited e-mails seeking money or personal details, irrespective of the e-mail address.

We will never make job offers without performing a formal interview process.

We will never request any payment from prospective candidates to obtain work visas, pre-employment medical checks or any other documents. 


WHAT SHOULD I DO? 
Please be vigilant to fraudulent activity and do not send money or pass any personal details to anyone suggesting they can provide employment with Qatar Airways Group. If you have applied for a position through a legitimate channel, we will have the information needed.
