About the role
Responsible for supporting the Regional Marketing Manager in the designing, planning, development and implementation of all the organisations marketing strategies and marketing communications, both external and internal for the assigned region. The job holder directly contributes to the delivery of the region’s revenue targets by active involvement in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for existing and new markets.
The key responsibilities are
· Responsible for implementing marketing strategies to deliver success both at regional and at market level.
· Steering and guiding the in-market marketing teams in the planning and delivery of marketing initiatives that will drive and achieve the revenue budgets, department objectives and KPls.
· Responsible for the effective utilisation of resources and marketing management processes ensuring full support is delivered to the wider team in a timely manner.
· Responsible for ensuring compliance to marketing and commercial strategy across the region and ensuring that marketing activities are performed to plan and budget.
· Manage and guide the markets in the creation, implementation and measurement of comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance the organisation's image and position; and all internal and external regional marketing and communications activities and materials including brand and retail campaigns, media relations, sales literature etc.
· Guide the markets on the articulation of organisation's desired global image and position at a local level and
· Guide the markets in the development of target-oriented campaigns assisting with the interpretation of customer trends and market intelligence.
· Work with local and regional stakeholders to uphold consistency and positioning both internally and externally across all constituencies and brand touch points.
· Review the editorial direction, design, production and distribution of company literature developed within the region.
· Support with the selection, introduction and ongoing management of all relevant outsourced agencies including but not limited to, media buying, creative, PR, events, experiential and social,
· Regularly monitor brand perceptions, competitors and market trends across the region and translating these insights into working marketing strategies.
· Manage pan-regional projects when necessary, such as product or destination launches, global and local sponsorships and special events.
· Drive marketing and acquisition related initiatives related to Privilege Club, the Qatar Airways FFP, across the region.
· Source and share market research, insight and trends that will improve the quality of the campaigns delivered in the region.
· Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
· Develop and manage insightful reporting and analysis tools in order to deliver required information and feedback to relevant business units on all marketing and communications activities conducted within the region
· Ongoing management, analysis and reporting of regional marketing budgets.

Qualification
Qualifications and Experience:
For Qatari Nationals
▪ Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience
Essential
▪ Experience of working within a multicultural environment
Preferred
▪ Experience in Ground Handling Operation
▪ Project Management course and/ or qualifications
