About the Job:

You will ensure that the aircraft is compliant with all the required airworthiness regulations and at an acceptable level of reliability, are maintained to support QTR/QAF operational requirements. You also evaluate Technical Documentation (AD/CN/SB/SIL/OIT/AOT/VSB/TFU) issued by airworthiness authorities, aircraft manufactures or vendors and take necessary action in a timely manner ( e.g issue EO, ESWC, CMA, TN etc )

You will evaluate the technical and commercial proposals, retrofit modification orders and corporate engineering change request.  Also, you will analyse and find solutions to problems related to components and systems that exceed alert levels in reliability reports and issue necessary technical literature and co-ordinate with various in-house departments, vendors and manufactures accordingly. You will investigate TORs/MORs/ASRs and recommend corrective measure as required. Prepare product specification and assist commercial department in preparing requests information and request for proposal and purchase agreements documents for selection of new components and systems.

About you:

You must be a  degree holder from a recognised university in BSc. Engineering or B.Eng in either Aeronautical, Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic or be Licensed Aircraft Engineer with at least 8 years experience as a certifying staff or equivalent

You must also have minimum experience of 5 years as a Development or Technical Services Engineer, or 8 years of Aircraft Maintenance as a certifying staff

We prefer candidates, who has minimum of 3 years of experience (not including training) on one or more aircraft types operated by Qatar Airways.

You must have a strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment to all levels in the organisation
