About Your Job:

Demi Chef de Partie must support senior chefs to ensure all requirements for flights prepared are as per the production plan provided. Demi Chef de Partie has to ensure that meals prepared by his team are as per standard recipes within airline specifications. All meals produced in the shift are as per passenger loads and any balances are managed effectively to minimize wastage. Ensure standard recipes are being followed by the team, delivering meals of highest standards to the airlines.

Assist Chef De Partie to ensure timely production of meals and to forecast requirements for upcoming cycles. All flights should be provided with requirements on time with Zero delays. All meals provided should be as per airline specifications and as per HACCP guidelines. Support the Sous chef to forecast requirements of the sections for upcoming cycles together with stores to ensure availability of raw materials and avoid any possible wastage due to excess stocks. Capable to supervise and continuously motivate the team to ensure deadlines are met with. Assist in effectively planning within the shift and coordinating with chefs of other shifts to ensure smooth operations.

About You:

Ideally you must have a culinary education background. Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management/Catering and a Certification in HACCP. You should have excellent communication skills in English with a basic knowledge of Computer applications (MS Office).

You must hold a minimum 2 years experience as Demi Chef De Partie in Air Catering unit/Hotel Industry with a woking knowledge of Food and Beverages.
