About Your Job::

Reporting to the Country Manager Australasia in this role you will be responsible for driving shareholder value through the maximisation of revenue. As a Manager you will effectively lead a team of Sales Executives with the objectives of continuing to grow and develop the client base.

You are required to deliver set revenue targets, produce long and short term local sales and channel plan including revenue targets as part of an integrated sales strategy. You will develop and implement initiatives that will help build Qatar Airways global brand, increase industry esteem and preference and establish ownership of the Australian market space.  You will manage relationships with other airlines, trade bodies, government and civil aviation authorities as well as the general public. You will also be responsible for achieving annual sales targets within operating budget with a focus on increasing revenues.

Key accountabilities will include strategy formulation, sales & marketing, leadership, account management and staff management & training.


About You::

To be successful in this role you must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years related experience within the travel/airline industry. You should have good knowledge of Australia's travel industry and airline marketing. You will have a proven ability to negotiate and work within a multinational and multi-cultural environment with good leadership skills. Experience in airline sales with extensive people management experience is essential.
