As Senior Manager National Vocational Scholarship you will report to the VP Nationalisation and will be responsible for the management of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Cadet Pilot Programme for all Qatari National Trainees and Arab National part sponsored scheme. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of all logistical support functions of the National Vocational Scholarship based on the rules and regulations of Qatar Airways National Scholarship programme. Through policy and procedures you will set the general direction of the National Vocational Scholarship and ensure that accountability in staff performance is measured in relation to the effectiveness and efficiency of the programmes.

In line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the implementation of Nationalisation within Qatar Airways for the enhancement of vocational scholarship programmes for pilots and engineers, this position plays a vital role in meeting the goals and objectives of the company. You will be accountable for ensuring that Qatar Airways is supplied with a constant source of engineers and pilots to meet the expansion of the airline. This includes managing the day to day delivery of a portfolio of pilot and aircraft engineering programmes to agreed quality and performance standards within budget, review, select and perform quality assurance of academic institutions as well as set policies for working with academic institutions, develop leading edge development programme solutions and lead continuous improvement.

This role plays a key part in the team leading and developing the strategy for nationalisation within Qatar Airways.
