About your Job:

In this role you will be responsible to assess and price QR fare structure  to enable sales to achieve their commercial objectives in changing market place. You will evaluate and launch market fares for new destinations outside the established QR network based on feedback from sales and special prorate agreements.

Accountabilities:

Operational:

  • Evaluate pricing request based on QR Pricing procedures. All pricing proposals must be reviewed based on the OAL practice, previous flight performance and future forecast.
  • Identify weaker routes and request special fares to gain QR Market share.
  • Take proactive action to increase load factor on poor performing routes.
  • Identify new points via QR gate way and recommend new SPA sectors beyond new routes to establish market fares.
  • All fare/booking class/sales/travel validity violations to be resolved as per the revenue accounts request.
  • Work with sales team to resolve any issues relating to pricing and distribution.
About You:

We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals with excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills that are focused on results and work well under pressure. Strong MS office skills, especially Excel, will be an advantage.

You will be a graduate or have a diploma in Travel & Tourism .Prior experience in airline pricing and revenue management will be an advantage but is not a must. You should have  proven record of fare construction, ticketing and prorating, have extensive knowledge of CRS and minim of 2 years’ experience in travel industry.

You must have strong interpersonal skills, proven time management skills, strong influencing and negotiating skills and strong decision making and problem solving skills.
