About Your Job:

You will perform annual stock counting of Aircraft inventory positioned in Qatar Airways technical stock and transit locations. You will be responsible generate count sheets; verify stock quantity and condition of the parts stored in various warehouse locations. You will be responsible to update ERP system with correct results of stock count and highlight discrepancies for next course of action as specified in the SOP. The end to end process also includes, closing of count sheets, recount generation, and timely completion of stock check as per the schedule specified by the organization. You will also responsible to provide outcome of stock check on daily basis.

Your key accountabilities include:


  • Responsible for count sheet generation and bin matrix update.

  • Perform Physical inventory stock check according to the count sheets generated and assignment.

  • Updating count sheets and recount sheets generation.

  • Complete recount and closing of reconciliation sheets in ERP/Trax.

  • Generation of discrepancy sheets and repot the same to the accountable manager for the location and to the stock check in charge.

  • Assist LSTO to do the final reconciliation by updating in Trax/ERP.

  • Coordinate with LMI team for Outstation stock verifications and closing of inventory discrepancies.

  • Archiving and record keeping of Physical count sheets and upload to eDocs.

  • Assist the Stock Controller in evaluating the stock check discrepancies when needed.

  • Assist the Stock Controller to generate the stock adjustment report for the stock check activity when needed.


About You:

We are looking for a Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification who has a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience. We prefer candidates who have experience in supply and logistics, Inventory stock check experience, store experience in airline or MRO. 

You should have understanding of Aviation supply chain logistics functions and operations and knowledge about stock check process and corrective measures. You must have strong problem solving skills, be self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision.
