As Baggage Services Supervisor you will be responsible to control all the functions of Baggage Services during a shift duty in order to ensure that mishandled bags are restored to the owner as quickly as possible to achieve highest standard of service delivery and customer satisfaction for both the passengers and the airlines.
You will be responsible to ensure that the passenger/s are assisted on arrival in a professional manner and Property Irregularity Reports are raised and the passengers are kept informed of the status of their missing bags on a regular basis.
You will ensure that all unclaimed bags, security articles, found property are entered into the World Tracer System within 04 hours of the flight arrival. You will be responsible for updating the reports for any equipment failures, discrepancies and incidents. You will also measure staff performance and encourage them to comply with the companies SOP.
