In this role, you will implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of the business and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders. You will implement changes to the IT component of the Crew Systems as laid out by the Development and Training Manager. You will also conduct in-depth analysis on rostering and pairing data and tuning of the optimizers.
This role directly impacts the optimality of pairings and rosters created for the crew resources department, as such this function directly impacts the results of the department as a whole.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for the business as far as the usage of the system is concerned and ensuring all analysis is conducted and decisions for any system upgrades and changes is taken up
- Coordinating with all stakeholders in order to document the business requirements for further designing an analysis program for facilitating their requirements
- Reviewing and evaluating the proposed requirement by the stakeholders and making suggestions for the business in line with the architecture plan of the department
- Leading the analysis of the data gathered within the crew resources department and making specifications for the Rave Modeller for enhanced productivity of the department.
