About Your Job::

We are seeking a highly talented, experienced and motivated person to join our team as a Leisure Account Manager for Munich in Germany. This role is home based and will involve travel within Munich and Southern Germany.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the revenue budget for the prescribed portfolio of accounts and managing relationships with Qatar Airways' leisure and trade customers. You will develop a successful, consistent approach to local and multinational dealing which drives maximum revenue and minimum cost of sale. You will negotiate commercial agreements between Qatar Airways and the accounts ensuring that maximum value of the airline is achieved. You will engage in joint sales and marketing activity to grow the level and quality of QR revenue sold through these partners and drive efficiencies in the distribution processes.

Further to this, you will contribute to the formulation and implementation of sales strategy to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift where appropriate. You will maximise value from the marketing spend, manage an individual expenditure budget and maintain sales professionalism standards.

 Please note that German and English fluency is a mandatory requirement of the role.


About You::

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in airline sales or a relevant travel industry
  • Fluent business level German and English
  • Ability to spot and interpret market trends
  • Experience with customers and contract negotiation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent relationship building, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of GDS/Airline systems
  • Experience negotiating contracts
