About Your Job:

We are seeking a highly talented, experienced and motivated person to join our team as Account Manager Corporate in Frankfurt. This is a contract position covering maternity leave for a period of 12-18 months.

In this role you will be responsible to drive Qatar Airways sales performance in the market through the implementation of the QR sales strategy across a portfolio of trade partners. You will ensure that revenue targets and business plans are met and cost of sales is kept at a minimum.

About You:

You must hold a Bachelor's degree with five years of job-related experience in key account management and/or sales, preferably in the airline or travel trade industry. You must have local market knowledge and solid existing business relationships in the commercial arena. You must have excellent time management skills and affinity for numbers. Knowledge of Amadeus will be advantage for this role.

Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills are key to success together with strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating contracts. You must have effective communication skills both spoken and written, and be fluent in English and German. Flexibility to travel within Germany is essential for the role.  You must also have a valid driving license to be considered for interview.



Specific accountabilities include:

Developing and maintaining long term strategic relationships with Qatar Airways’ Trade partners and corporate clients.

Contributing to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift where appropriate.

Reviewing Qatar Airways sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities

Developing tactical Sales and Marketing activity in support of sales opportunities in both trade partners and corporate market place.
