About Your Job::

In this role, you will support all marketing-related activities of Qatar Airways in Bangladesh, in order to build a strong and premium image on the market and to drive sales.  The position will include being able to handle all kinds of Marketing activities including branding campaigns, tactical campaigns, events, direct marketing and public relations.  You will also assist in the creation and implementation of the marketing plan and ensure cost effective use of the Marketing spend.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation of tactical and branding campaigns to generate revenue for the company and increase the brand awareness of Qatar Airways
  • Developing and creating POS elements requested by the same steam in order to develop their activities like banners for online travel agents
  • Developing the privilege club by recruiting new members and making existing members use QR flights
  • Identifying, building and rolling out marketing best practices, maintaining marketing standards and compliance
  • Supporting the sales team with marketing requirements and generating new ideas for the station
  • Comprehending commercial objectives of the station, understanding competition and targets and supporting stations with marketing plans and campaigns
About you:

To be effective in this role you would need a Relevant vocational , Tertiary or Trade qualification and preference will be given to candidates with a Major in Marketing/ Sales.  You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience within the travel or airline industry.

You should have Experience in coordinating and executing marketing strategies and campaigns; planning and analytical skills are a must. You must also be proficient in  layout tool such as Adobe InDesign and have experience within Brand or Trade marketing. 

You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must have excellent business analysis and metrics skills. 

Fluency (written and spoken) in English is required to perform this role
