In this role, you will plan, document, and implement required aircraft-related cybersecurity controls by using available technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Aircraft and Aircraft-related systems are in accordance with established standards and procedures.
You will be responsible for ensuring that aircraft and related systems such as In-Flight Entertainment (IEF) systems, avionics, Onboard WIFI, Air to Ground Communications, Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), Onboard Payment Devices (COTS), and other emerging aircraft-related technologies are adequately protected against Cyber Attacks.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Designing a strategy for Aircraft Cyber Security and maintain the same in line with current and emerging “Industry Best Practice”
- Ensuring that regular contact is maintained with OEMs (both aircraft manufacturers and independent aircraft system providers) to ensure QR can influence and/or fully understand the OEMs ongoing strategy for Cyber Security
- Setting up and chairing a cross-functional team across Technical (specifically Aircraft programs), Flight Ops, HIA and IT to ensure the Cyber plans across the aircraft and ground systems are adequately protected
