About the Job:

As a Cargo Customer Services Coordinator you will provide an excellent front line customer service experience that focuses on delivering positive outputs, and which puts customers at the heart of what we do by acting as a point of contact for queries , information request and concerns from Cargo customers. 

Accountability: 

  • Resolve customer complains via phone and email in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Liaise with the relevant internal teams of the cargo department in order to communicate clearly with customers with regards to QR operational failures which have resulted in customer dis-satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Cargo Operations, Outstations and Sales teams in order to response to queries on shipments and report status back to the customers.
  • Communicate and keep in touch with QR outstations to ensure that all customers and outstations staff issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Handle irregularities or discrepancies and ensure the concerned departments are involved to resolve the issue.
  • Ensure misrouted, offloaded, delayed, lost shipments are tracked and timely communicated and follow up is given to the customers.
  • Document all activities for quality and metrics reporting through the customer relationship management application.
  • Develop a clear and in-dept knowledge of Qatar Airways Cargo products.
  • Accurately track customers queries using Qatar Airways Cargo tools to facilitate and identification of common inquiries , maintain an accurate database of customer queries with actionable data output.
About You:

You will need to hold a relevant Tertiary , Trade or Vocational qualification with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within an airline/ aviation industry would be preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the Consignee, Shipper, Freight Forwarder model, Cargo reservation and tracking system, overall cargo operations and set up would be an added advantage. 

A certificate in computer applications - MS Office along with strong customer service and interpersonal skills is essential for this role.

You must have good command of written and spoken English. Arabic speaking skills will be an advantage.
