About Your Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for business development strategy in the field, with the objective of long-term maximisation of revenues and profits.  You will partner with Network Sales, Revenue Management, Network Planning, Distribution, Marketing and other relevant stakeholders in developing business development strategies and actions.  You will also communicate business development strategies, actions, results and requirements within the region.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring development and execution of strategies and action plans by regional team
  • Ensuring development and implementation of regional pricing strategies together with HO RM Market Teams
  • Ensuring the sharing and implementation of best practices between countries
  • Identifying and discussing, with Revenue Management and Regional Management, the strategic direction for the planning of the revenue performance and pricing positioning for current and future seasons 
  • Meeting revenue budget targets by partnering with Network Sales and Revenue Management
  • Setting and managing metrics for good control of revenue performance and strategic compliance in the sales region
  • Ensuring, with field Pricing Managers, that a consistent and agreed strategy is applied across all pricing activity in each of their markets

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree or similar, preferably in the Economics, Mathematics or Operational Research, combined with a minimum of eight years of job-related experience.  You will need to have held a senior role in revenue management, pricing, network planning or sales for a network career and be able to demonstrate technical expertise.  You will need strong quantitative and qualitative skills, advanced problem solving capabilities and proven leadership skills.  Prior experience with O&D based demand forecasting and network optimisation is an advantage.
