About Your Job:

In this role, you will provide overall leadership on a strategic and commercial level for all sales and other activities within the assigned station.  You will strategically develop and deliver revenue for Qatar Airways, maximising the return from the existing market whilst identifying and penetrating new markets, where appropriate.  You will be responsible for the effective management of all staff and company assets within the assigned station, including of airport staff.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Managing the strategic direction of QR sales in the region of responsibility and defining the optimal way to increase sales by recommendations for routes, timings, aircraft types and other product development
  • Formulating and implementing regional sales strategy, including local corporate dealing policy, to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift, where appropriate
  • Producing short-medium term local regional ales and channel plan including revenue targets as part of the integrated sales strategy
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing marketing strategies for the region.
  • Delivering set revenue targets for the country and implementing sales and marketing plans for the different markets
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to attain sales targets and help build Qatar Airways global brand, increase industry esteem and preference and establish ownership of the diverse market space
About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree combined with a minimum of five years of job-related experience with exposure to passenger sales in a highly competitive airline/travel market.  You will need to have experience in selling of Airline product with a good knowledge of geographic areas within scope of coverage.

Preferally you should have good budgetary control skills, along with strong mentoring, coaching and managerial capability is required with an ability to negotiate and work within a multinational and multicultural environment.

You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English to perform this role.
